So UK has decided that people from certain “high risk” countries are to pay £3000 in order to get a six month visa. Such countries include Pakistan, Nigeria, India and my homeland Ghana among others. While I accept that they are a sovereign nation and have the right to make any laws they wish, I feel this is very discriminatory and insulting. After an attempt to strong-arm developing nations to adopt gay rights (another issue I may come to later), this is…….I’m out of words.
